NEW Auburn scholarship for out-of-state students

I’m excited to announce that Auburn University has created a new scholarship for out-of-state students! The scholarship will be awarded this year. More information about the new scholarship and the scholarship deadline is below.

The “True Blue Legacy Scholarships” will be awarded among incoming non-resident freshmen with a minimum 28 ACT or 1250 SAT score and 3.5 high school GPA and a parent/guardian or sibling who is an alumnus of Auburn University (main campus). Scholarships will be awarded at $14,000 over four years ($3,500 per year), or $4,000 over four years ($1,000 per year) if the student has previously been awarded a Freshman Scholarship of equal or greater value. This information can also be found online at http://www.auburn.edu/scholarship/undergraduate/alumni.html.

Due to the winter storm, the Freshman Scholarship deadline has been extended from Saturday, February 1 to Sunday, February 9. Auburn University was closed Tuesday-Thursday this week, so this will give students a little more time to call if they have questions.

If you have any questions, please let me know!
