BBB Student of Integrity Scholarship


BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE STUDENT OF INTEGRITY SCHOLARSHIP:

The BBB Student of Integrity Award Program recognizes high school students in Middle Tennessee who personify the principles of ethical business; qualities such as trust, fairness, leadership, community service, academic integrity, humility, courage, compassion and respect. Complete application, 3 letters of recommendation, required essay, transcript and photo required. Winner will receive a $5,500.00 scholarship.  Two additional finalists will each receive $1,000.

Deadline: March 1
Entries must be mail via Certified Mail.

UTC Math Scholarship



The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Department of Mathematics offers several scholarships and awards each year to deserving students. There are three scholarships given to incoming freshmen each year who wish to major in Mathematics. Seven scholarships and awards are given to upperclassmen each year based on academic excellence in the field of Mathematics.

Incoming Freshmen Scholarships:


  1. Marjorie Watson Mathematics Scholarship (application deadline March 15)
  2. The Blue Cross Blue Shield of TN Mathematics Scholarship
  3. Dorothy Dean Shelton Mathematics Scholarship

BUICK ACHIEVER scholarships


It starts with good grades. But goes beyond.

A dedicated student. A leader in school. A volunteer worker. A college-bound and community-minded individual.

The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program wants to reward students who have succeeded both inside and outside of the classroom—and who may not be able to attend college without financial assistance. It's a reward for what you've made of yourself and the difference you are making for others.

The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is offering:

Up to $25,000 per year for 100 first-time freshman or existing college students, renewable up to four years and one additional year for those entering a qualified five-year engineering program.

$2,000 one-time awards for an additional 1,000 students.


Applications are now being accepted until 5:00 p.m. EST, 2/28/2013.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship


To be eligible for a Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship, an applicant must:
Be a graduating, minority high school senior;
Plan to attend an accredited and approved four–year institution within the United States;
Demonstrate leadership potential and a dedication to community service;
Present evidence of financial need;
Be a United States citizen;
Score a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21; and
Not possess a degree from a 2 or 4–year College when applying for the scholarship.


Timeline for 2013 Application Process

February 15, 2013, 5pm (ET) - Application due
April 30, 2013 - Notification of application status via email
May 1 – May 31, 2013 - Second round, regional interviews
June 15, 2013 - Final selections announced

New College of Florida


The Admissions & Financial Aid team at New College of Florida hopes you had a wonderful winter break and were able to spend some time with loved ones and reenergize.

As you continue to work with students in the college application process, we’d like to remind you that the guaranteed scholarship deadline for New College is February 15.  All freshman students completing their entire application by February 15 are guaranteed scholarships if they are admitted.  Please encourage your interested students to complete their application as soon as possible while we have the most space and funding available.  Unfortunately, each year we have to turn away many talented students who apply late.

Engineering Scholarship


The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students.

Ohio State scholarship opportunity


Our Honors & Scholars team has asked us to pass on some information to you and your brightest students.
If you have high ability students who have already applied to Ohio State, encourage them to now apply for Eminence. If they have not applied to Ohio State, there is still plenty of time to apply to the university and for Eminence.

Benefits of the Eminence program:
·       Full Cost of Attendance Scholarship for 4 years

·       $3,000 research grant after the first year of study

·       Unique internship and study abroad opportunities starting freshman year

·       One on one mentoring

Eligibility/Selection:
·       Must have applied to the university and the honors program

·       Apply for eminence scholarship by Friday, February 8th

·       Typical students selected are in the top 3% of their class, score a 34 on the ACT (1520 SAT – Math + Critical Reading) and are evident leaders inside and outside of the classroom
