"Stop Texting & Driving" Video Scholarship Contest

The law firm of Hollins, Raybin & Weissman offers an annual scholarship contest to Stop Texting and Driving. Students will create videos that help in the fight against distracted driving and needless car accident injuries. A total of three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded: one to the best video entry from Davidson County (TN), one to the best entry from the state of TN, and one to the best entry from the entire US. Deadline for entry is May 1, 2016.

The National CCAA Scholarship

An opportunity for students planning to attend a Catholic college or university in the fall:

The National Catholic College Admission Association is pleased once again to offer their National CCAA Scholarship.

The scholarship awards were established by The National CCAA's Board of Directors to promote Catholic higher education. The National CCAA Scholarship is a one-time, $1,000 award given to eight college-bound high school seniors from various geographic regions attending a CCAA-member institution in fall 2016. The application is brief and will take students a few minutes to complete. The deadline to apply for the National CCAA Scholarship is March 17, 2016 at 11:59 PM PST. Award recipients will be selected in early April.
